My semi truck is in the shop. They recommended The Portlander. I'm not disappointed. As far as rooms go, I'm not picky; as long as it's got a clean bed to sleep in and a hot shower, I'm cool. I've been through at the Jubitz truck stop but didn't really get to stay. Being a long-haul driver doesn't allow for a lot of time to stick around. This time, the universe had its way, and I get to rest a little.

What a great place! You could easily call this a full service hotel. Rooms are basic-everything you need-nice and clean. We ate at all three dining options-the sports bar/nightclub, the coffee shop type restaurant and the deli for ice cream. All had good service and food. The convenience store was very nice as well. The front desk was professional and friendly. The shuttle driver happily dropped off and picked us up from the Portland International Raceways. Great guy. We will stay here again.

Easy check in, friendly staff, clean, affordable, updated, and felt comfortable and safe. This hotel is next to a truck stop that we did not hear any noise from. It was actually very quiet with many places to get food abs amenities!

Excellent customer service and great food and very fair prices. The only negative thing was that I wanted to watch Monday Night Football and the TV in my room was not working. No worries, just one of those days.

I honestly wasn't expecting much when I found out this hotel was attached to a truck stop and a 2 star hotel. I was pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and had everything we needed. It had the coldest refrigerator of any hotel I've ever stayed in (I would almost give it 5 stars almost just for that). The front desk staff was very friendly and hooked me up with a taxi on their dime when I had trouble with Uber when I needed to get to the airport before the shuttle started running. I used the store downstairs a few times and it was so convenient. The only negative was the breakfast could've been a little better, but that was a matter of taste, literally. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in Portlander Inn for 2 nights (4 people + 1 dog). The room is nice as it is recently remodeled. Fresh paint smell. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is covered by voucher to the restaurant. Truck-sized plates. :p The downside is the noise as there are lots of trucks on the road. It is close to Airport too.
